Neveen H. Kurtom, Esq.  

Neveen Kurtom devotes all of her practice to family law matters.  With nearly 20 years of experience, Ms. Kurtom has assisted hundreds of clients in their divorces, child custody and visitation matters, as well as child support and alimony cases.  She has extensive experience in complex marital property matters, and she is also a trained mediator.  She is dedicated to her clients and works tirelessly to achieve their desired outcome in their cases. Ms. Kurtom believes each client and each case deserves time, attention, and an understanding of the unique case.  She will zealously represent her clients in court during all stages of the litigation process.

Ms. Kurtom’s style of practice is adaptable to her client’s needs.  Some cases require aggressive litigation while others resolve through mediation and alternative dispute resolution.  Depending on the facts of the case and the client’s preference, Ms. Kurtom’s overall goal to make sure that her clients are well-informed and to help them achieve the desired outcome so that they can move forward with their lives.

Ms. Kurtom obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland College Park and then obtained her Juris Doctorate at the University of Baltimore School of Law.  Among her many achievements, Ms. Kurtom was selected as a Super Lawyer by SuperLawyers® from 2016-2025.  She has also been named as one Maryland's Top 100 Women and a Very Important Professional by The Daily Record.  Additionally, Ms. Kurtom has been awarded the AV Preeminent® rating by Martindale-Hubbell® which signifies that a large number of her peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence for her legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards.  She is a member of many professional organizations including the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.

Ms. Kurtom is a proud mom of three children.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, volunteering at the local schools and church, and spending time with her family.
